August 2023 Market Update

Just in! August 2023 reports have been released from Florida Realtors® detailing recent real estate activity in Broward County. The reports compare year-over-year data. Here are statistics on single-family homes.

 

Broward County’s months supply of inventory remained the same from July to August at 2.8 months, a 12% increase from August 2022. The median sale price in the county experienced a 6.7% increase from 2022 at $600,000 but remained consistent with last month.

Realtors® closed 11% more transactions in Broward County this month compared to last month. We are seeing the median days to contract continue to increase year over year reaching 23 days as buyers sift through the current inventory,” says Chris Krzemien, president of Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors®. “Realtors® understand the unique needs of the region and provide a distinct consumer experience that require different levels of support, complexity and expertise.
